Our recipe book follows the seasonal fresh produce available in our region that we purchase for our programs. Recipes are chose for their nutrition value, ease of preparation, budget considerations and recommendations from communities to source culturally valued recipe ideas.
Nutrition Education Resources
SNAP-Ed provides nutrition education programs at youth sites across Maryland, reaching children and their families.
My Plate is the current nutrition guide published by the United States Department of Agriculture's Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion, and serves as a recommendation based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
