Nutrition Education Coordinator
We partner with community health clinics and School Based Health and Wellness Centers throughout the county to support community led Food Is Medicine programs. FIM programs include both healthy food access and nutrition education as part of our strategy to empower long-term positive health outcomes for residents managing diet related chronic disease.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Nutrition Education Coordinator to support our Food Is Medicine initiatives throughout Montgomery County. This role combines nutrition counseling, program coordination, and community health education. The ideal candidate will work closely with CFS’s Executive Director, Programs & Operations Director and Community Engagement Coordinator to support and enhance our nutrition-focused efforts, including nutrition education, outreach, and program implementation.
A second key component of the position is to support our Food Is Medicine strategic goals to develop and share best practices about the wide variety of FIM initiatives taking place throughout the county with the aim to lift up and advocate for effective FIM approaches as led by community based initiatives.

Mobile Market Manager
Our Mobile Market provides fresh, culturally appropriate fruits and vegetables in communities where otherwise affordable, high quality local produce is not easily accessible. We operate 8 markets per week at various locations throughout the county. Families and residents that come to the Mobile Market that are participants in our program can use credits (e-voucher) to purchase produce that they choose. Additionally, any community resident can use SNAP benefits matched by Maryland Market Money to purchase produce at a discount.
Job Summary:
The Mobile Market Operations Manager is responsible for the daily management and execution of our mobile market program that provides fresh, healthy, and affordable produce to communities lacking healthy food access options. This role includes overseeing the Mobile Market Operator team, logistics, inventory management, partnership relationships, customer service, and community engagement to ensure the success and sustainability of the mobile markets. The ideal candidate is passionate about food equity, has strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
