Julie has an unwavering belief that food has transformative power beyond nutrition—it connects communities, preserves cultural heritage, and genuinely sparks joy. She is passionate about transforming our food system into one that nourishes all community members while supporting local agricultural networks. 

As Director of Programs & Operations, Julie leverages her unique background spanning the agricultural value chain—from working with small-scale wine producers, to building strong brands at WhiteWave Foods (Danone), to leading enterprise initiatives preventing food waste in commercial kitchens with Leanpath. Her professional background combines strategic program development with hands-on implementation, allowing her to cultivate collaboration among stakeholders and drive impactful operational strategies with a holistic understanding of the complexity of food systems. 

Julie holds a B.S. in Communication from Ithaca College, is a certified Climate Reality Leader and ACRE trained facilitator. She loves geeking out on the latest -waste, soil, carbon, mushrooms - news and is looking forward to being a resource for the agricultural community
